Professional Scrum Master Certification - NYC 4.23.18
The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course is a 2-day course that cover...
The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course is a 2-day course that covers the principles and (empirical) process theory underpinning the mechanics, rules, and roles of the Scrum framework. Professional Scrum Master is THE cutting-edge course for effective Scrum Masters and anyone supporting a software development team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsive Advisors is committed to a holistic approach to agility and Scrum. Robert Pieper, a Professional Scrum Trainer with Scrum.org, is the founder and Principal Consultant of Responsive Advisors. Learn more about what makes Responsive Advisors Agile Training great.
Our advisors help make Scrum stick by fully explaining the “why” behind Scrum (we don't just throw charts and graphs at you).
We have deep and broad industry experience and can uniquely apply it to real-world problems.
We address the sticky issues of interpersonal communication and team dynamics. We find that many Scrum problems are actually people problems.
We know how to communicate difficult-to-grasp agile concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS
"Jordan was able to give me the holistic view of Scrum that I was missing even after working with it for years and having attended other training. I left the class excited and confident in my abilities, which is something that I can’t say that I’ve often experienced after a training class. I suppose the truest endorsement of the progress I made was finally having the confidence to take the PSM-II, which I passed with a 92%. If I wind up conquering the PSM-III, I know I’ll have Jordan to thank.” - David de Corlieu
“Thank you again for a great class last week! I came back excited to share what I'd learned with the rest of the company - I'd argue that's not something that can't be said for most classes. Loved the small class size and open communication. Would definitely recommend to others at my organization.”
“A good balance between theory and examples vague enough to elicit great discussion and interactions, but relevant enough to get concrete knowledge to take home.”
“Busting some of the myths of what is and isn’t scrum was helpful. Lots of good guidance on how to maximize our use of Scrum. Good clarification on the purpose of many of the Scrum concepts.”
MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Robb knows that agility is a business problem, not just a software problem. Robb applies his passion and diverse background to building amazing cultures and learning organizations.
Jordan Job is Managing Consultant at Responsive Advisors, a management consulting firm focused on holistically improving organizations. He’s a Scrum.org certified trainer and coach having taught agility to thousands of people across the country.
When Jordan Job was a software developer, he quickly realized that almost all of the problems he faced in the workplace were not software problems but process, structure, and people problems. Since then, Jordan has been passionate about helping people become more satisfied and productive at work by improving the processes, structures, and relationships that surround them.

“Reentry” is a term commonly used to describe efforts to reduce the recidivism rates of former inmates. Those returning to communities from jail disproportionately have issues that involve substance abuse, and physical illness, which are barriers in becoming productive members of our respective communities. This regional summit looks to engage everyone involved in these two areas to share, learn, and understand how we can move forward in improving lives and collectively shaping vibrant and healthy communities throughout NJ and NY.

"What's Rational About the Bible?" with Dennis Prager & Eric Metaxas

What’s rational about the Bible?
Dennis Prager spent thirty years examining that question before writing his acclaimed new book THE RATIONAL BIBLE. Now, for one evening only, he's sitting down with fellow radio host and bestselling author Eric Metaxas for an in-depth discussion about the rationality and relevance of the Bible.
Join us for the taping of a Radio and TV Special with Dennis Prager and Eric Metaxas on Prager's THE RATIONAL BIBLE at the Trinity Broadcasting Network's New York Studios on April 23rd.
After the one hour program, there will be book sales and signings!
Everyone in attendance will need to go through a security screening upon entering the building, because of this, we encourage you to arrive at 3pm to ensure everyone is seated and the program can begin on time.
THE RATIONAL BIBLE: EXODUS
Irrelevant, outdated, irrational, antiquated and immoral—these words used today to describe the Bible are dead wrong. Nationally syndicated radio host, best-selling author, and Prager University founder, Dennis Prager, explains that the Bible is not only rational but extremely relevant to people of faith and no faith in his newest book The Rational Bible: Exodus (Regnery Faith; $34.99; April 2, 2018.)
Dennis Prager provides an entirely reason-based, verse-by-verse explanation of the Book of Exodus, the second book of the Bible, demonstrating why the Bible remains profoundly relevant in the time of chaos we face. Containing the most important moral code in world history, the Ten Commandments, The Rational Bible: Exodus brings the core wisdom of the Bible to modern readers by explaining the stories and laws of the Old Testament in contemporary terms using reason.
“Given the supreme importance of goodness and the indispensability of wisdom to goodness, the Torah, the greatest repository of goodness and wisdom in human history, is the most important book ever written,” says Prager. “It gave birth to the rest of the Bible, to Christianity, and to Western civilization.”
The Rational Bible: Exodus is the fruit of Dennis Prager’s fifty years of studying and teaching the Torah to people of every faith and no faith. On virtually every page, readers will discover how the text relates to the contemporary world and to each of us individually. His goal: to change your mind — and, as a result, to change your life.
Dennis Prager has led a unique life. With a daily radio talk show heard around America and around the world, he has talked to literally millions of people for thirty-five years. He has traveled to 130 countries and the fifty American states; has lectured on seven continents; conducts symphony orchestras; is a bestselling author of seven books; and is founder of the online non-profit Prager University, whose five-minute educational videos are viewed around the world more than 500 million times a year.
Eric Metaxas is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Martin Luther, If You Can Keep It, Bonhoeffer, Amazing Grace, and Miracles. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages. His writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The New Yorker, and Metaxas has appeared as a cultural commentator on CNN, the Fox News Channel, and MSNBC. He is the host of The Eric Metaxas Show, a nationally syndicated daily radio show. Metaxas is also the founder and host of Socrates in the City, the acclaimed series of conversations on “life, God, and other small topics,” featuring Malcolm Gladwell, Dick Cavett, and Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, among many others. He is a senior fellow and lecturer at large at the King’s College in New York City, where he lives with his wife and daughter.
