This is an excellent place to go hang out with your friends or take a date and enjoy some good wine and food. It's nice to have something like this in our area.
Ashton creek vineyard was really fun! They are dog friendly so it was nice to bring the puppy outside on the deck ☺️ they have a nice wine tasting and the bartender was really nice and informative. The charcuterie board was very tasty. The celebration wine was delicious as well! They let you take home the stemless wine glasses with purchase of a tasting! Recommend.
Solid 6/10
Wines were decent, but not eye opening, they were all good and i definitely will return for wine slushies this summer. Atmosphere was good, nice calming place kid and dog friendly, I enjoyed a wine flight, and I like that they had the option of a flight OR a full tasting. Staff are SUPER friendly. All in all a good place to be :)
Impressed! Swung by randomly on way home. Staff was amazing. Super friendly and informative about their wines. Super chill atmosphere, would think a weekend in layer Spring/Summer might be a bit busier. Voigner 2019 was perfect wine for 80 degree Friday afternoon drinking. Also ordered the charcuterie board which was delish and prepared quick. Definitely recommend and will be back.
Pros: Atmosphere was great (on a weekday visit, but it looked like the weekend would be even better). People were friendly. It was very clean. Location is good - right off highway and multiple other Wineries within 30-45 mins.
Cons: Wine was ODD. Very strange blends with what appeared to be a wide variety of varietals from a wide variety of years from a wide variety of vineyards… $19 for a tasting (10 wines) was steep for the lack of popularity, and didn’t include some of the most mainstream wines (like their two Chards!). They would allow you to sample some, but after the tasting we were ready to get to somewhere else.
Glad we experienced it, but won’t return for a few years due to the wine tasting experience.
Stopped by there today. Had a wine tasting, wife had a flight and we ordered the Brussel Sprouts, Crab Dip and some Fries. Food was quickly made to order and delicious. Wines were great and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier. It was my first visit, but I assure you, it won't be our last!
Not impressed. Wines lacked complexity. Atmosphere was decent but the band was horrendous, in turn killing the one good thing this place had going for them. Staff was pleasant, but made me feel like I was a bother when I went up to counter. While I understand having restrictions/requirements due to covid, the “self guided” tasting was classless. The food was poor quality and overpriced especially for the amount rationed out in those tacky plastic to go containers. If you need anything you have to keep getting up and go inside, like you are at some dive bar and not a winery as there was no one to attend to you (maybe also due to covid). This was a terrible experience to end my wife’s birthday weekend and I’m embarrassed at myself for taking her here.
Good Wine, friendly service, good food and absolutely beautiful surroundings. Prices are on par with other wineries. Guys... They did have beer if you want to take your lady 😉 Good date spot!
Good wine & crab dip. Atmosphere is nice. Staff is always friendly.
