This is a perfect place to go if you like a bit of history. It’s a bit small but it will take about 1-2 hours to actually see everything and really enjoy every bit of it. Worth every cent
This place is definitely worth stopping by and checking out. It’s not the biggest or best I’ve been too but I think they have some great things. The staff is super friendly and I think the price was fair.
Wonderful experience to take the whole family to! Great exhibits and we learned a lot! Fantastic place to take the kids.. has a nice play area after we did our self guided tour. Highly recommend!
Great place to explore and learn about aviation history. Great place for a family outing. Very kid friendly with lots of hands on and interactive displays.
This museum has a lot of unique and interesting aircrafts. I gave it only four stars because the simulators and hands on activities were closed because of COVID. That is what my son really wanted to do. He wanted to walk in an aircraft or sit in the pilot seat but all of that was roped off. We did enjoy watching airplanes land and take off.
Cute museum. Not much going on inside but for $10.00 the price is fair. I would not go out of my way to visit, but if you’re in the area stop by and take a look. If you work in aviation you will get through this museum in about 45 minutes. Many of the exhibits are recreations. As an example many of the munitions on the fighters are clearly made from pipe. They’re not even demilitarized or well done replicas. The A7 and RF-8 are in such bad shape, their tires are flat and struts depleted. The aircraft here are not taken care of. The F-105 was falling apart and a volunteer was on top of it with a leaf blower and spray paint trying to make it look better.
This place has a lot of potential.
The Museum was a really nice place. All the people who work there are friendly. The planes are a cool thing to walk around and learn about. There is also a really nice area full of picnic tables under some huge planes outside the building immediately to the right as you drive in. Very good place for casual/leisurely experience and watch some planes come and go from the airfield behind the place.
So glad they're open. Wonderful staff, fantastic exhibits, fun play area for kids, good gift shop. Highly recommend.
This large, friendly and relaxed flight museum has some real gems, in particular in military and space aircraft. Easy parking and reasonably priced across the board. This is not usually a busy place (no school trips right now) and some of the interactive displays are paused (in 2020), but if you want to see a few great finds---try this large Love Field-areas hangar. Our 6 year old loves to come here and see all the planes and mannequins and toys in the gift shop. The disabling of the interactive items is understandable, but drop my review to a 4/5, but the friendly people and their understanding of these strange times makes me glad they are one of the museums still charging forth to educate and entertain. There are some really unique aircraft here, so do visit and explore.
