My 3yr old always has a blast here. Never really too busy, which is great. They have a kids area so they can play/run around. They have large old planes inside, and a piece of rock from the moon. Very cool, even for adults.
Small but good variety. Would be cool to have more historical plaques. Also would have loved to get in the cockpits.
GREAT little gem in Dallas! Worth taking the kids to, or if grandparents are in town and you need a nice indoor activity for the whole family. We have been taking our daughter there since she was 4, and she still enjoys it. Highly recommend going on "Moon Day". There are extra exhibitions and neat things to see including robots, engineering stations and a pop up planetarium.
I was here for the first time for a kids Birthday party. This is a really cool museum! So many interesting things to see and interactive displays. Highly recommend it!!
The Frontiers of Flight Museum is quite close to the Dallas Love Field Airport. It consists of variety of fighter jets planes and other experimental models kept on display. There are some cool things like the Apollo 7 Command Module and other space shuttle based equipments. Overall the places is pretty decent and I suggest for a one time visit as there isn't much fun activity to do around there in. It's just a display museum you can go to check new things out and get information upon.
This museum is very close to Love Field, so we visited prior to picking up family at the airport. It was a great way to spend an hour or more. The museum is laid out to reflect the history of flight, from the Wright Brothers through space travel, which includes the Apollo VII spacecraft and a full size model of the 1903 Wright Brothers airplane. One of our favorites is the opportunity to climb aboard a Boeing 737 Southwest Airline nose, and aircraft. There is also a nice gift shop for souvenirs. This is a great museum to learn the history of flight.
Detailed planes and museum exhibits make this places 10 dollar admission worth it. Lots of the planes are hung up in the roof however and they makes it difficult to really see them. The stuff you can see however is awesome and highly detailed. They have an entire section devoted to Southwest Airlines and being as I work there that was pretty cool.

Great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had my daughters 3rd birthday party there and she was over the top thrilled. Everyone had a great time, lots to see and lots to do. Highly recommend
