Where do I begin. My husband is the race car enthusiasts in our family. I am new to the track experience. My first was AAA Speedway, then Orange Show and the Barona Speedway. I saw on Facebook they Irwindale is closing next year and encouraged all us race fans to attend. I hope somehow, some way, someone finds a way to keep it open. Its one of the last affordable good ol US of A family traditions of going to your local track. The track is up on cement so the as a fan, you can see all the cars as if you were sitting way up high. There's ample parking. They have port a potties in the parking lot as well as regular bathrooms. The staff at all venues were very nice and welcoming. I was really bumed we drove all the up from San Diego and you were out of the large and xlarge hats for my hubby. I bought a bunch of checked flags and a T shirt. They have the race shack for beer, sodas and food and they also had other food vendors such as funnel cake, lemonade and the best huge baked potatoes ever to eat during the yellow caution flag. The track is clean, neat and organized. The bathrooms were very clean and stocked with supplies. I enjoyed the salute to our military and Austism speaks. I got teared at all the cars driving slowly around the track all holding American Flags! I can't wait to return.
Won tickets to last night's Father's Day races. Loved everything about it. Venue , staff ,and races all outstanding.
First time at the track and had a great time! Will be back!
