I love the vibe of this place. French + south western I think. Awesome outdoor patio and live music some nights. Good ambient place for a date!
Nice place with a very nice garden in the back. We went for brunch, food is good - not excellent but the steak and egg was delicious - and aligned with pricing.
Service was very nice and the waiter was very friendly.
In an everything neighborhood of brand new high rises, it was great to fall into this book of a bar restaurant to catch a World Cup game. There is a cozy backyard is verdant and clever wood furniture easily fit the various groups of people. The Venezuelan bartender mixed a delicious margarita for myself and sweet looking strawberry margaritas for my friends. We did not eat but the food our neighbors ordered looked delicious. The crowd was friendly, the game was close and positive vibes abounded. This is a great place that I hope survives for a long time! Come support and enjoy
Crazy elderly lady attempts to kick me out 5 feet into my experience. I walk in, look for a place at the bar for a drink before my train, unknown, unidentified lady grabs my arm and begins telling me to leave. I brush her off. The bartender comes over, clearly against his will, says she is the owner and states I have to leave, with no reason as to why. It’s her spot she wants me gone. Some jack ass regular try’s to play hero to walk me out, asking me to swallow my pride and let it go. Sorry, this felt too intentional and I wasn’t going anywhere. I stood my ground, stood at the bar and ordered drinks with the original bartender. He apologized, and bought me a drink. I attempted to reconcile with the owner after, though no wrong doing on my part and she refused to shake me hand. I went back to the bar, ordered a second round, bought the bartender a shot and thanked him for the hospitality, tipped and caught my train. It was the 4th and they were busy. The bartender says I was targeted for looking like I just wanted to use the bathroom. Well, whatever the reason, it all felt wrong and I tried to make it right on my end, and the bartender did his part. I’d be happy to go back and try the food should I be greeted with no owner issues.
The ONLY negative review I've ever written about a restaurant in 40+ years...
Food used to be excellent a few years ago but quality dropped to ridiculously poor levels. Tiny frozen shrimp in a shrimp risotto for $20 is a joke. Also an etiquette-challenged prick bartender is almost hilarious, but really just groanworthy. How is this spot open? Oh yeah, thanks condos. Don't waste a cash-only (why?) dollar at this spot, plenty of good meals nearby (Regal, Barricou, Dar etc).
If you looking for a good Mexican food do not come to this place, if you are going to order ask them what they have available before you make you order
We ordered two tacos carnitas and al pastor and they didn’t have neither of them. Expensive but has a nice outdoor area.
Perfect brunch spot. Went when it was a little rainy outside, no wait, perfect food, great drinks. (Even sat outside in back garden area) Can't wait to go back again
Slow low quality food. Messed up multiple parts of the order then overcharged us twice. Planet Earth was playing on the large screen, because a leopard killing an alligator is exactly the kind of background visual you you want for brunch.
