What an amazing place. Our son is in love
My grandsons attend Woodmont and love it! The 5 y year old begins his "countdown to Woodmont in April by marking days off on his calendar, summer 2020 will be hisc3rd summer.,not only is itva GREAT place for children, it is a SAFE place for children, which for parents is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. Woodmont Day camp provides their Campers with precious and fun memories that will last a lifetime. Oh, one more important point?.it is also anhands-on educational experience for them. Thank you, Woodmont!
Best camp I know!!! Love it, kids are so well entertained and taken care of. From directors to all the staff great personalities and vibes. Where camp is family!!!
My oldest (going in to 2nd grade)is in her 2nd year at Woodmont and loves it! My youngest (going into kindergarten) is in her first year. This is her first experience away from her best buddies (from nursery School). The camp has done a great job helping her make a smooth transition out of her comfortable routine she's had for the last 4 years.
We highly recommend Woodmont, they help teach Kindness, Confidence and Respect (their motto). The camp communicates very well with the parents, daily with the young ones. Great facilities that are constantly being updated and improved. Swimming instructors and pools are top notch. Both of my girls have improved dramatically in the water. The confidence they have instilled in my babies in the pool is amazing! Woodmont has so many different activities for my girls to choose from, every day is a new adventure. They come home ready to tell us about the day and tell us what's going to happen tomorrow. Go check out the camp, take a tour and speak with the owners it'll be time well spent!
This camp is awesome! Tons of things to do and always adding more - this year we helped them add a Ninja Warrior Fitness course (installed by Ninja Sport). The owners are awesome to work with.
Great day camping place
This year all 3 kids are in the same camp (ages 10, 6, and 5) and they are having such a great time. The variety of enrichment programs, sports, and daily activities is amazing. All the counselors are so friendly and engaging. The kids are having a blast!!!
This is from the perspective of a relative of someone who works in the camp. I have only seen the grounds and interacted with the staff. I was there in late winter so camp is not yet open.
The staff is very friendly. The camp grounds are clean and beautiful. Everything the campers could need is in easy access. For example; the towel closet, bathrooms, and changing rooms are all in very close proximity to the pools. There are so many activities for the campers and all activity areas are labeled so it is easy to find where you need to go.
There are words of affirmation everywhere. Though the day I walked around the grounds was cold, my heart was warmed at all the signs around the camp promoting kindness, respect, bravery, etc. Some activities include: swimming, biking, arts and crafts, nature, rock climbing, boating, music, movement, plus more.
Again, this is all based on my brief interaction with the camp. However, if I could be a kid again, I would have begged my parents to send me here :)
Way way overpriced, my daughter had the best time there last summer. It's just super expensive in era where both parents have to work this is a luxury item you can find camps that are just as fun that don't sting your wallet as much. Again my daughter did have a great summer there with all that being said.
